I think I purchased it in the late eighties & S&W sent me the new stocks for free.

Can anyone give me the manuf, date (s/n BSH1xxx) & a fair market value of the revolver & stocks. This item was purchased new and never fired. Will be selling a S&W Model 66-4 with a set of new unopened wood stocks. I just got my buddy a Smith & Wesson Highway Patrol serial N57958*the N5xxxxx range ran from 1978 to 1980. I'm not aware of any on-line S&W manuals but if you contact S&W customer service they will send you an owners manual.

I would find a manual to disassemble it and clean it. I have a s&w 22lr revolver with serial 34Kxxxx.
